With the exception of Cirque du Soleil, I don't think I've ever been to an actual circus in my entire life. I'm not a big fan of watching animals in captivity, so I can't say I was thrilled when my wife suggested we go see the Ringling Brothers Circus. I was actually more intrigued to see if we were going to be greeted by animal rights activists...I wasn't disappointed. The show itself was okay, since I don't even enjoy going to Disneyworld anymore, I may not be the best judge.

I won't go to the circus anymore either for the exact reason you posted. It makes me sad to see those poor animals loked up in a 40x40 area when they are clearly use to long ranges & roaming. Very sad. Brittani
